The need for sacred space is universal, but every congregation is unique. We believe that sacred space should spring from philosophy of worship and not be forced into a particular style of architecture. Before we set pencil to paper, we must understand the minds of the worshippers. From information gathered from interviews, surveys, and "idea potlucks", we find the essence of what will make this worship place unique and special. We then marry the vision of the congregation to the site. The solution should be unique and authentic to time, place and spirit. If the site is in Central Texas, the architecture must belong to Central Texas, not Florida or the Pacific Rim. We take into account the site's history, natural resources, native technologies and materials. We are then ready to use our expertise in technology and aesthetics to create a place of quality, optimum in function, and timeless in expression.
