St. John Neumann Catholic Church | Rectory & Site Improvements

Austin, TX

After almost 10 years at a new campus location at the corner of Bee Cave Rd. and 360, and in the midst of several small projects completing the finish-out of the church's chapel and mosaic dome, the Strategic Planning Committee at St. John Neumann Catholic Church began a new master plan to re-evaluate campus growth in light of parish needs. With over 3,100 households and dozens of ministries, the parish has outgrown the current parking facilities and is need of additional classroom, meeting, and office space in the near future. In addition, one of the highest priorities identified in a parish survey was an on-site Rectory for the priests to live in community on campus. Located in a wooded private corner at the highest part of the site, the Rectory will take advantage of new utilities that will be located simultaneously with the parking expansion across the creek from the rest of the campus. Pedestrian bridges will provide access to the Church and the Pastoral Center from the added parking. Plans for a future Education Building and new Pastoral Administration Building are also included.
