South Spring Baptist Church
South Spring Baptist Church began as a primarily community recreation-oriented site for families. The first-phase pavilion was later enclosed to serve as a sanctuary, and the necessary support facilities were added. The central feature on the site is a lake created to provide opportunities for kayaking, fishing, and water activities. JGA was engaged to help develop campus plans for a large standalone church to be developed on the site, retaining its identity as a favorite destination for recreational use. Generous green lawn areas invite use for sports and crossfit classes, while the more wooded areas offer walking paths and disc golf. The future sanctuary and ministry buildings are oriented around a central lawn, while ancillary buildings are clustered according to their use.
