Famously photographed by Ansel Adams and painted by Georgia O'Keeffe, the San Francisco de Asis Mission Church continues to inspire generations of artists. Our own Kennedy Colombo enjoyed capturing this building with watercolors while traveling through Taos, New Mexico.
Georgia O'Keeffe described it as "one of the most beautiful buildings left in the United States by the early Spaniards." The Taos Chamber of Commerce states that the building is "one of he most photographed and painted churches in the world." source
