With heavy equipment making its way on site, construction began in late July on the new 36,000 square foot Parish Activity Center at St. William Catholic Church in Round Rock. The building's exterior will complement the campus's mediterranean design, while the forward-thinking interior provides needed expansion for the many ministries at the parish, the largest in Central Texas. A parish hall nearly double the size of the existing room, an additional larger commercial kitchen, a 250-seat auditorium, and multiple meeting rooms will also provide premium hospitality for special events. Inside and out, the facilities are attractively designed to maximize thoughtful functionality and use while minimizing operating cost, energy use, and resource consumption.
With good weather in the forecast, the remainder of site work should be completed quickly. Chasco Constructors are working diligently to safely minimize campus disruptions and accelerate completion, which is estimated for late spring / early summer 2016.
