Kudos to our friends at Shoreline Church – renovations to the lobbies, corridors, and a handful of other rooms are nearing completion and look outstanding. This latest project carries a fresh aesthetic throughout many of the public spaces in the large facility, an effort that began with renovations to the auditorium / sanctuary in 2012. Designed and themed uniquely for Shoreline, Blue Rooms are a connection point for visitors and guests to seek information about the church and also serve as a place for volunteer sign-in, registration, and online giving. Other features include added casual seating and video displays, gallery display walls for series theming and local art, gallery corridors depicting the story of Shoreline Church, and radial ceiling cloud array which serves as a backdrop to environmental projection and lighting. An updated nursery check-in, administrative reception lobby, and seating niches are to follow. Construction will conclude in early 2015.
Passersby may have also noticed the recent addition of a sign on the building, visible from Mopac toll north. JGA assisted Shoreline with signage design and consulting, providing a number of studies to maximize visibility and readability from the highway.
