We do not find architectural beauty wrapped up in a particular style of architecture. Through our experience with many clients, we know that what some people perceive as beautiful, others do not. Memories have a huge impact on what each individual perceives as beautiful. Consequently, it is our job as designers to extract the positive memories from those for whom we design. Rather than mimic a style, we question why such an affinity for a particular style exists in the first place, and then apply the appropriate principles of proportion, colors, light, etc. to the unique design project at hand. We frequently reference nature in our designs. Ruskin stated "... beautiful lines are those which are commonest in external creation." We would agree.
